Booking Connection

After sending a booking form to MCSConnect what do I do?
MCS will either call, email or fax confirmation that we have received your booking and with all categories completed correctly on booking form. We will then organise either plans to be faxed or emailed to us by you or we will organise a time to meet on site at pre wire stage

What if I change my mind on the package I have chosen?
Packages can be altered afterwards but will depend on the stage that your property is at.

When is the best time to book my property in?
The best time to book your property in is as soon as you have signed for your property as this will enable us to identify any problems eg. Network Shortfall.

Property Stages

At what stage will MCS commence work on our property?
To enable MCS to provide the most cost effective packages for the customer we time everything correctly. We do not go to site until the walls of the house are standing, but we MUST attend prior to the plaster being installed. This is where we will require contact with either yourself or your building supervisor.

Will you do the trenching component of the job at this stage?
This will depend entirely on the building contractor we will organise with the builder the best time to trench for the Telephone service. A lot of builders prefer that we complete the trenching once the property has been handed over.
PLEASE WE MUST BE NOTIFIED IF YOUR BUILDER IS LAYING YOUR DRIVEWAY

Completion of Works

What do I do when I move in to my new house will the phone be working? Does MCS turn the phone on for me?
MCS will notify you of completion of works when you will have Soft Dial Tone. Once we notify you we will give you the procedure to connect with the carrier of your choice.

Payment

How and when do I pay for the service?
MCS will send an invoice to your current billing address once we have started work on the property.

Do I pay before completion of works?
Once invoice is issued you will have 14 days to pay. On receipt of payment MCS will then release your job for full connection to the service provider.

Does the price of the package include the Service provider charges?
No once you connect with the service provider you have elected to go with they will require a connection fee.
